Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using our websites or tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the services. We have tried to keep this page readable; nothing here is intended to be a trap.

2. What we provide

YmmDigitals operates free, browser-based tools. Geotrail estimates where a photograph was taken by analysing the visual content of the image. The services are provided as they are, at no charge, and supported by advertising.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of a service at any time. Because the tools are free and require no account, we cannot always give notice in advance, though we will try to where a change matters.

3. Accuracy — please read this one

Geotrail produces an estimate, not a determination of fact. It infers a probable location from visual evidence, and it will sometimes be wrong, including confidently wrong. Results are offered for general interest and convenience only.

You must not rely on a Geotrail result as evidence, as the basis of a legal or safety decision, or as a way of establishing where any person has been. In particular, do not use our tools to locate, track, identify, or investigate an individual. Doing so is both outside the purpose of the service and a breach of section 4.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Locate, track, monitor, identify, or harass any person, or otherwise invade anyone's privacy.
• Upload content you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Upload unlawful material, including sexual content involving minors, or content that depicts or promotes violence against people.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe, or circumvent the service or its security, including by automated scraping or bulk submission.
• Interfere with the advertising that funds the service, or attempt to generate invalid ad activity.
• Resell, rebrand, or commercially redistribute our output as though it were your own service.

We may block access, without notice, where we believe these rules are being broken.

5. Your content

You keep all rights in the images you upload. We do not claim ownership of them.

By uploading an image, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process and transmit it for the sole purpose of producing your result and operating the service. That licence ends when the processing is complete. How uploads are handled and retained is described in the privacy policy.

You confirm that you have the right to upload the images you submit.

6. Our content

The sites themselves — their text, design, code, logos, and name — belong to YmmDigitals and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may link to our pages freely and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution. You may not copy a site wholesale, or present our tools as your own product.

7. Advertising and third parties

Our pages display advertising served by Google and may link to sites we do not run. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content, products, or privacy practices. Your dealings with an advertiser are between you and them.

8. No warranty

The services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will be correct.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YmmDigitals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the services. This includes loss arising from reliance on an inaccurate result.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the preceding twelve months, which for our free tools is nil, or the minimum the applicable law requires.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where the law does not permit that exclusion.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify YmmDigitals against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the services or your breach of these terms, including any claim brought by a person whose image or privacy rights you have infringed.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do, and continuing to use the services after that date means you accept the revised version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, and the courts of Addis Ababa will have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
